AMESVILLE, Ohio -- Kathleen D. Steiner, 60, of Amesville, passed away early Monday morning, March 22, 2004, at Brookside-Hickory Creek in The Plains, from an extended illness. She was the daughter of Ruth Hill Steiner of Chauncey and the late Marlin Steiner, and was born Feb. 20, 1944, in Akron.
She is survived by her sons, Hans Frank and his wife, Annie, of San Antonio, Texas, and Christopher Frank of Beverly Hills, Calif.; sisters, Marleen and Curt Laufhutte of Uniontown, Eileen and Ron Davis of Radcliff, and Charleen and John Dillon of Glouster; four nieces, four nephews, five great-nieces, and five great-nephews.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a great-nephew. Memorials may be made to Appalachian Community Hospice, P.O. Box 768, Athens, Ohio 45701, or to breast cancer research. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 17, at 2 p.m., at the Amesville Presbyterian Church in Amesville, Ohio. Arrangements are by Jagers Funeral Home in Athens.
